Cyla AI respects your right to control your data. This page explains how to request deletion of the personal information we hold about you or your workspace, including any data obtained through Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp). You can request deletion at any time using either of the methods below.
Option 1 — Delete your data in the app
- Sign in to Cyla AI at https://cylaai.com.
- To remove specific records (contacts, leads, conversations or connected channels), delete them directly, or disconnect a channel from Settings → Integrations. Disconnecting a Meta, Facebook, Instagram or WhatsApp channel deletes the messaging data obtained through that channel.
- To delete an entire workspace or your account, contact your workspace administrator, who can remove your user or close the workspace. If you are the administrator and wish to close the workspace and delete all of its data, email us using Option 2 below.
Option 2 — Email a deletion request
- Send an email to sathya.moorthy.v@gmail.com with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”.
- Include the email address associated with your account and, if possible, the name of your workspace and the specific data or channels you want deleted, so we can locate and verify your records.
- We will verify your request and process it within 30 days, and we will confirm by email once the deletion is complete.
What gets deleted
On a verified deletion request we permanently remove the personal information associated with your account or the requested records, including:
- Your account and profile information.
- CRM and lead records you ask us to delete, or all records in a workspace when the workspace is closed.
- Messaging and contact data obtained through connected Meta, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp channels. This data is also deleted automatically when you disconnect the corresponding channel.
What may be retained
We may retain a limited amount of information where we are legally required or permitted to do so, for example to meet tax, accounting or other legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to prevent fraud and abuse, or to enforce our agreements. Retained information is kept only for as long as necessary for those purposes and is then deleted or de-identified. Backups are purged on our regular rotation cycle.
Data obtained via Meta, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp
Data that Cyla AI obtains through the Meta Platforms APIs is deleted upon your request or when you disconnect the relevant channel, in line with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies. You can use this page as the Data Deletion Instructions URL for your Meta app configuration.
